BrandStorm is an international business competition for students. In this year\'s 24th edition of the competition, the task of three-person teams from 58 countries was to play the role of marketing director of cosmetics brand La Roche-Posay and attract a new generation of 15 - 25 year old consumers.

The jury awarded the highest score to the team "Fantasme" supervised by Prof. Piotr Płoszajski from the Warsaw School of Economics, whose members were: Tine Schlaak, Franziska Sarrazin and Angelika Kim. The team suggested the application Digitologist that allows to scan the skin in 3D, as well as offers dermatological advice on-line and a personalized product recommendation.

Second and third place went to teams from Chile and Singapore. Teams that were on the podium, received 2.5 thousand euros for the third place, 5 thousand euros for second place, 10 thousand euros for the winning design. Each team can spend the prize money on a dream trip.

"BrandStorm is a unique opportunity to prove our skills, broaden horizons and challenge ourselves. By taking part in the competition, we could unleash our creativity in a real, international business context, an opportunity we not always had in everyday life at the university. In addition, we have learned a lot about teamwork and how to apply valuable skills acquired during our studies while working on real projects" - says the winning team member Angelika Kim.

The competition is organized in the world since 1992 and has attracted over 80 thousand students. In Poland, the project has been active for almost 10 years; every year hundreds of participants from various universities compete. This year\'s edition of the competition attracted students from leading universities including: Warsaw School of Economics, Wrocław University of Economics, Kozminski University, Cracow University of Economics, University of Gdańsk and the University of Warsaw.
