The university’s coordinator for Polish students and marketing Agnieszka Schmid told PAP that the event in the Auditorium Maximum building at Logenstraße 2 in Frankfurt (Oder) would be held entirely in Polish. She added that so far more than 370 interested persons from Poland had signed up.

"Professors will present three university faculties in the form of lectures: law, cultural studies and economics, as well as the Collegium Polonicum and the fields of study: 11 undergraduate and 19 master\'s courses. In particular, we will discuss the offer addressed specifically to the Polish candidates, i.e. Polish and German Law and Intercultural German Studies" - said Schmid.

She added that Viadrina students would also show future colleagues the campus, the university library, the city of Frankfurt and the educational facilities of the university.

"At dinner, to which Viadrina invites guests to the university canteen, potential candidates will be able to talk and get to know us. And those who decide to participate in recruitment, can also apply for a start-up scholarship that the college offers exclusively to Polish students" - added Schmid.

Viadrina European University was founded in 1991 with the aim of creating a university that would allow to bring together young people from all over the world. For this reason, the university student population is international.
