Poland presents GreenEvo technologies in Moscow, Chile

Several dozen firms from Poland selected by the Environment Ministry as part of GreenEvo project presented their innovative environment protection technologies in Moscow on Wednesday.
GreenEvo - Green Technology Accelerator is a project prepared and executed by the Environment Ministry.
The project was launched in November 2009 and developed within the framework of the Polish Presidency of COP 14, i.e. the UN Climate Change Conference, held in Poland in December 2008, the most important forum of global political negotiations on climate changes.
GreenEvo - Green Technology Accelerator keeps the standards of the Poznan Technology Transfer Strategy aimed at increasing the efficiency of technology transfer through a good identification of the developing countries\' needs in this regard.
Participation in the project guarantees different type of training and consulting services as well as adjustment of their offer to foreign contractors\' expectations.
Under-secretary of state at the Environment Ministry Beata Jaczewska told PAP that some of GreenEvo firms had found partners in Russia and were seeking still other contacts.
"Russia is a huge and interesting market though backward vis-a-vis Poland so the potential of the development of environment-friendly technologies is huge, Jaczewska said.
A GreenEvo technologies mission to Chile will last till November 23.
