New Polish trade missions to promote innovative technologies selected in the GreenEvo programme start in October, announced the Ministry of the Environment. Entrepreneurs will visit Algeria, Malaysia, Ukraine and Vietnam.

"Trade missions have a particular purpose. We want to show that the GreenEvo programme is a group of innovative companies, offering excellent environmental solutions that can be attractive to customers worldwide" - said the Minister of the Environment Marcin Korolec quoted on the ministry website.

Korolec added that he was convinced that "the mission would be a success and in the near future it would generate many business contacts, as previously".

According to the ministry, winners of the two completed GreenEvo editions improved their financial results by an average of over 30 percent, and more than half of them increased employment.

According to the Ministry of the Environment, trade mission plan is quite full. It includes meetings of Polish companies with Vietnamese entrepreneurs, and taking part in the third International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference iGEM 2012 in Kuala Lumpur.

Later, GreenEvo winners present their technologies at the International Exhibition of Renewable Energies and Sustainable Development ERA 2012 held in Oran (Algeria). The entrepreneur will also visit Kiev in Ukraine, where they plan to meet with local businesses.

During the October mission, they will present Polish green technologies, including components for rapid construction of energy-efficient and passive buildings, T-Technology - a solution for the processing of waste plastics into liquid fuels, and an environmental technology for wastewater treatment.

During the November trade missions, Polish entrepreneurs will visit Chile and Russia.

GreenEvo Green Technology Accelerator is a project of the Ministry of the Environment, aimed at promoting the transfer of Polish innovative environmental technologies and global promotion of Polish technical thought. The priority is to supply the Polish technologies to foreign markets.
